Track Name: Running Man
I try to jump down from your door and leave you far behind
But I can see you waving your goodbyes as we unwind
All our carefree earthly ties

I try to spit the sweetness but I cant forget the scent
I try to find a weakness in the words so kindly meant
Find forgiveness in suprise

Whether I run or i sneak every inch I’ll be secretly wondering how to return
Every ending pretends at forgetting the way it began

I keep taking giant steps away
But I just cant stop listening, the things your smile can say
And time will bring your healing hands to help rewind this running man each day
Giant steps away, but I’d still run back to you

I try to skip the country, throw my baggage on a plane
But I’d be stopped at customs just for smuggling your name
I try to feel enlightened by your confiscated care
By your beauty in the air

Chorus

yours is such a fuel demanding flame
And you leave the coldest longing on the bloodstream, on the brain
However far away the cold ones crave the fire they failed to tame
We know just what we need
Our own advice we just wont take heed

Chorus
Track Name: Dancing Shoes
Youve come a long way since we danced in circles underground
Now your secret’s free to spiral into bloom
Glowing in the sunshine with a mystery of all that you've been through
And you're walking in your dancing shoes

Now i wonder what you're making of my letter through your door
As the morning bathes your hallway in blue
You've danced upon the grave of your beginning and you've saved the end for you
now you're walking in your dancing shoes

A different wind blows through your hair a different life for you to share
As you run away from where you had to hide
And you realise at last that the prison of your past
Was just the laces of your shoes you'd left untied

You carry such momentum that the rain flies from your skin
far too late to look away from life so new
but do you ever hear the echoes of the song that wrapped my arms around your bruise
when youre walking in your dancing shoes?

When the stones upon the surface turn to dust and blow away
The deepest seeds emerge into the dew
Glowing in the sunshine with a mystery, i somehow always knew
You’d be walking in your dancing shoes
Track Name: Dark Eye
I've found a way to see in the dark
To keep my ever changing path
To hide from headlights making me blind
From those who's road is clearer than mine
Just close one eye in the moment of glare
and you'll save one eye to see and one eye to spare
Till they pass you by
Then when i need to guide my feet i'll open my dark eye
Then when i need to guide my feet i'll open my dark eye

I've found a way to weather a lie
To sift the sand that leaves your tongue dry
Refuse to buy the sorrow we sell
as We gather round to drink from the well
Just close one eye and keep it's canvas clear
When you make your mind up under a mantle of fear
And the spring is dry
But when i hear and the water run clear i'll open my dark eye
But when i hear and the water run clear i'll open my dark eye

Wearing my cynical gaze
to see half as clear as the day
but no longer judging the distance to go
it’s a compromise, each to their own
I'll make this journey my home

I've found a way to shelter my heart
From the pride that holds two lovers apart
To hide from history tainting my view
To cast aside and behold her anew
If i’m to keep an open mind
must i journey open eyed or be blissfully blind?
I just can't decide
But when i look in the face of my love I'll open my dark eye
But when i look in the face of my love I'll open my dark eye
Track Name: Never Knowingly Forgotten
Can’t find the right key to unlock the door
There are too many keys on my chain
Can’t remember which tales you told me before
Or when and where from each story came
Can’t remember which way to find my way home
The landmarks I left in a dream
The lines that i draw on this map of my own
The memories of faces i’ve seen

And still the days gone by
are never knowingly forgotten
As I long to cling to
The choir of echoes coursing through my head

Can’t remember where my old raincoat is kept
Prepare to feel the weight of the sky
Can’t fight my failings I've had to accept
and let my old regrets blow by
Can’t find the shelter to which I would run
Too many destinations in view
Can’t recall the countless illusions i've spun
Too many imitations are true

Must i feel the need to draw conclusions
From the scraps of this confusion when i’m
gripping onto every little pore
Carefully descend down this wall i’m
looking up, afraid to fall afraid of
losing sight of who I was before
If i was to let go of the ladder
And let the memories scatter
Could i ever get a hold on it once more?
To fall as freely as the rain must pour
from the sky down to the distant floor
must surely be worth forgetting for
Track Name: Enemy
Tell somebody something they want to hear
Keep repeating and repeating the score
You can push an idea so far in everyone’s ear
They could swear that it was there before

Now erase all that you don’t understand
and remind us how afraid we should be
But don't you ever forget that your marionettes
are gonna see the strings eventually

Everybody needs an enemy And I want to make you ours
If you’re the one to take the blame then wont you take a step too far

I want you to make me Disillusioned
Show me what we knew all along
Open my eyes and shatter my Delusion
That it's me who's in the wrong

Only so much you can lie and ignore, before the
Shepherd starts a-losing the sheep
But you’ll know what it’s worth to inherit the earth
When you see the making of the meek

Everybody needs an enemy And i want to make you mine
If you’re the sum of all my shame then prove it to me one more time

CHORUS

You give up waiting for the colours shining true
When you've seen these shades of grey too many times, as they cascade from the gutter made to guard the red and blue
So that when we’re being lied to we don’t mind
And with every new rendition on an old familiar theme
I’m waiting for the note you blow too hard
Shoot your guns until they jam, Scream the words you understand
Till everyone can see just what you are
Track Name: Lonesome George
You sit and ponder all the time you've been alone
And you wonder if you'll feel the sun again
You're staring at the doorway of the tunnel that’s your home
And you're longing till the light comes shining in
But who decides what the rolling tide will bring?

Still you're shouting
Oh! Can anyone help me to find a fellow soul
'Cos i need a helping hand
Oh! Can anyone help me get out of this shell
And find somebody who knows who i am

You realise your best is never good enough
You're reaching out for common ground beyond the brink
And dont it make you feel like you might be a member of
A different species, and maybe you're extinct
But who here knows every tune the dodo sings?

Chorus

The time that flies can leave you stranded on the ground
but all the love you have to give will never fade away
inside you safe and sound

Until the early morning brings a brand new view
filling up the empty shadows on your mind
and you see all the souls who feel the way you do
we're all searching for the one thing we cant find
but only you can see the seasons through to spring

Chorus
